Respect for the rule of law

Assessment:

Our societies are governed by a panoply of laws which are never enforced. Sentences are seldom applied, due to lack of resources or lack of will.
The body of law continues to grow while the judiciary and the police do not have the resources to do their work properly.

ADDE proposal:

There is no point in adopting laws in the knowledge that there is no means of getting them enforced. We want laws that are clear, and above all respected.
The laws that the European Union governs, in particular on illegal immigration, have to be enforced.

Moreover, we call for the complete restitution of legislative and judicial powers to the nations, without interference from the Council of Europe or the Court of Justice of the European Union.
